Swalk Properties are both private landlords and property refurbishment specialists.

Our Story

The patriarch of our family, after witnessing his children and grandchildren move from one private rental property to another due to various issues, ranging from the property being sold from under them to the local authority condemning the property due to its overall state, decided to act.

Frustrated by poor landlords and letting agents, with cheap materials and shoddy, cheap repairs, he made a decisive move to buy several properties and convert them into private rental homes.

His priority was to ensure his children and grandchildren had first option on these homes, with any additional properties available for commercial rental. This initiative was driven by a desire to create a safe, comfortable living environment for his family and others.

At Swalk Properties, we are dedicated to refurbishing all properties to a high standard. Repairs are conducted swiftly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption for our tenants. We operate as ethical landlords, consistently maintaining and presenting each property as a place where we would be proud to live ourselves.

After refurbishing the first of our properties, we encountered numerous "cowboy builders" in the area. Having been "bitten" by various contractors over the years, we utilized our own experience to develop a team of professional, ethical contractors who get the job done right the first time.
